The last few weeks have been kind of hectic with a surprise visit from my Uncle who lives in Canada and my sister has been here for the weekend. Today looks like I might be getting back to a bit of normality.

We, that is I, decided that the bathroom floor should be tiled so on Saturday we went to a great place in Kilmarnock and ordered gorgeous black tiles with a diamond sparkle. Fabulous. When we came out of the shop across the road is a pram and nursery centre and I noticed another sign saying KNITTING CENTRE. I went in and got a great bargain on wool and some patterns. They were selling DK 100g balls for 99p and if you bought six you got them for £5.00 What a deal and I bought 12 balls. I will of course be going back the next time we're up that way. The place is called Kilmarnock Pram and Nursery Centre and Knitting Centre and the address is 2 New Mill Road, Kilmarnock. Phone 10563 520 075. I checked it out on the internet and they are in the process of setting up a website.

Rhona

That is a good deal, am impressed you stopped at 12 balls, I'd have had a car full at that price.

The new floor sounds lovely :D
