Hi everyone one

I am a brand new sparkly new member, love knitting, recently returned to the hobby after a few years in the wildnerness. I have had some wool given me and it is driving me mad what to knit, so this is exactly what I am looking for. I already have a few items I can send it.

I hope you are all as potty as I am, and always willing to learn new knitting techniques, I have just taught myself how to do double sided knitting, just finished my first pair of socks and very keen to have a go knitting on circular needles now. I am really looking forward to this forum.

Do we have any knitting bees at all, I think that what they are called, not too sure.

Welcome to the forum Netty - what do you mean by knitting bees - if you mena groups we do have one in Fife, one in Portsmouth and one in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland at the moment with hopes of more springing up as the year goes on. If you mean knit along style things then I guess our three monthly challenges might just fit that bill - we are due to launch the new ones on 12th April for the summer months - the ones we are doing just now can be found further down the page under this topic or under donations and countdown topic :0)

Hello Netty and wrelcome to this very sensible forum where we are all so goody goody and that is why I got the title mad maureen! We have great fun and lots of laughs as well as doing our bit! Hope you really enjoy being with us and that you find lots of things to keep you focussed.
