If you use the Post Reply button to send your message instead of the box at teh bottom of the screen there is the wee add image to post bit in blue writing underneath the box you type in. This is one of the Animal Activity books I made for Loving Hands- fingers crossed it works then?
I expect this is now in the wrong part of the forum - but I was reading the instructions at the same time as posting it oops
Lou you could shift it to latest work in progress?
Jean in Rainy France

xx

Well done Mrs Moneypenny - are they the knitted poppies pattern on here? I tried the three rows pattern - being bone idle - that Grannydo posted (well I think it was her) and I am quite happy with that but love the leaf on the back of your one.

yes its the poppy pattern that was posted on here but i made a bit of a mistake on the decrease row i did 4 stitches between each set of psso but it makes them look like they have a bit of a fold where the red petals would go over each other so im sticking with my mistake. i end up with a slighlty bigger hole in the middle when i gather my stitches up but that gets covered by the black center. oh and im lazy with the centre i only cast on 20 stitches as i find when i pull them together its enogh for me to get the circle i need for the middles.
The leaf is from a hat pattern ive been doing a few of recently. id got 2 balls of 4ply green left in a poppy leaf colour so im knitting 2 strands together to make the leaves and use it up.

Love the poppies mrs m. Think I`ll have a go at putting on a leaf on mine - just finishes them off nicely doesn`t it ?

Jean, the activity book you sent me was one of the item I sold last week. Thanks again for sending it.

I liked the three row poppy as well, it`s not as big and floppy as some of the others - more like the ones we usually see at this time of year.

Elaine.

Well done ladies for the pics. Love to see what folks are doing. The activity book has so much work in it, so thanks Jean for our one, on its way to Canada. The poppies are lovely too, I did quite a few while away but still in bits. If I can get them to look like Mrs M's I will be happy.

Jenna, you look lovely, hope you enjoyed your party.

After a lovely day yesterday, pouring rain hear again for half the night.

Mag x

Well done Dot. I am going to have to try one fine day instead of sending to Alana and asking her to put them on. Frightened to try.

Love the mice and lovely donations again Dot. Great work on both accounts.

Mag x :)

Thanks for your comments Mag. and so pleased to hear that the flooding missed you. We are lucky to be well out of flood danger being 700feet above sea level here in the lovely Glenurquhart.
I feel sure if I can manage the pic, you will too, its not much different than attaching a pic. to an e-mail. So if you follow Lou's instructions in this thread that is all you need to do, go on give it a try :D Dot
