  Don`t know what`s going on here, but re-posted link and it worked fine. Tried again to make sure and got the dance link again :o so have removed it completely.

I`ll try again tomorrow -oops later today.!!
Elaine.

I was trying to post the pattern for Blue`s hedgehog on the knittering website if anyone else wants to try it. I`ll try once more and if it doesn`t work I will SCREAM.

Pam are they only in Africa? They look devine. I haven't seen a hedgehog in my garden but have had the passing fox and a badger sett in one of the top fields

I sat for an hour this morning staring out the back window at a pair of rabbits having a great time running around - needless to say the dogs didn't know they were there! By the time I opened the door for the dogs rabbits had gone to ground. The hunting season starts this coming weekend - its terrible drunk men with guns out firing at anything that moves - I am not a fan, but it's what the locals do for sport, Both dogs and me have BRIGHT in your face coats to wear and daft hats, the heck with being fashionable - its that or get shot at!

O Abi what are you like, and our Scottish / French lass, keep wearing BRIGHT clothes with all those Gun tooting frenchies about. I have a bright yellow southwester in the garage any use to you or your woofers? And YIPPEE, HOLAR HORAY, I have the pattern downloaded. THANKYOU.... look out for a lot of baby hedgehogs next spring. xxx Pat

SS - we must use the same fashion house - I too am the proud owner of a bright yellow sou'wester, with matching ensamble of trousers and jacket - well it rains a fair wee bit here and the new material trousers only lasted one winter, so I have reverted to the TRAWLERMAN look. He he, glad you got the pattern and look forward to seeing a huge batch of hedgies come the spring.
Jean in France - wearing tin hat tomorrow

Thanks for putting the hedgehog pattern on the site, Jean - I adapted Jean Greenhowe's Mamas and babes pattern, but yours is much easier. I will be making more now! They are so cute.
I had a very poorly hedgehog in the garden this week which I took to the local Vet. - hopefully he saved him, but I may never know.

Why have we got such a soft spot of hedgehogs? With all their prickles, and their reputation for flees? Yet we still love em? I think it their little snouts. How about you?

What fab hedgehog pics! We have one in our back garden. I know when he's out and about at night because the cats sit at the patio doors watching him. I give him cat food and love watching him eating becuase he gets right in the dish and gets absolutely covered in it! Soooo sweet
