Hello my name is Lesley

I have been knitting for approx 45 years (with gaps) I love to knit for my local NICU but they are well stocked at the moment so I have been trawling the internet and found the lovely Lou.

I also love to knit toys and give them to charities to raffle. Jean Greenhowe and Alan Dart rock!!!!!

I thought I would start tonight with a knitted burial gown as I know these bring such comfort to parents whose baby does not make it.

Anyway, all for now - got to get my needles ready to start "clacking".

Luv & stuff
Lesley

A big welcome.Ironing whats ironing? Tend to put washing away in drawer and iron when really necessary ,at last moment. One of these times I'll get caught out with the iron not working.... Yes like you I think Greenhowe and Dart amazing. Love the circus set just out in the Simply Knitting magazine Issue 41 May. Like the smaller toys though not the bigger ones.

Hi Lesley - I think your call name is funny. I don't mind ironing at all - I used to have to iron for all my family when I lived with my parents - there were 4 of us - now it's great 'cos I only have 2 to cater for. I like to get the washing done and ironed and put away so everything is always ready if we need it. Great way to spend part your weekend....plus cleaning....NOT! Having said that, I'm so orgainsed that I can't bear it...so have to do it....victim of my own thinking!!

Hi Lesley,

I just had to say hello when I saw your nickname. I thought I'd found a kindred spirit! I realise it's awfully sad, but I really do LOVE ironing. Goodness knows why. I mean, I hate any type of housework, hate shopping, cooking, just about everything in fact. But ironing is great.

Oh, I'd best go now. I see the men in white coats are waiting to take me back. Shocked Laughing
