hi i'm sharon, 37, and i'm new to this forum, used to knit a lot when my twin sons were babies, they're 13 now and refuse to wear hand knitted garments lol
still love knitting tho, so when i was told about loving hands i had to join, and i have knitted my first premature baby hat this evening. plan on filling up all my spare time now on this worthwhile cause.

Welcome to the forum I'm sure you'll have lots of fun and if you're not already addicted to wool you since will be oh, and you will also become addicted to the forum.

Hello and welcome Sharon, I think we have had the best weather in the country today. Wall to wall sunshine and a good breeze, so have managed to get all my washing dry. Have just been scraping and wire brushing our back gate so that we can get a coat of Hammerite on it. Its the only stuff we can use to keep the rust under control. Goodness knows how long the gate has been standing there but it still looks quite smart when it has been repainted white. I have at long last finished my v neck sweater and have started on a Ted for Tragedy so should get at least two finished and off in the post before the deadline. Dot
