Is anyone interested in setting up a group in the South of England? I'm based on the South Coast in Hampshire but happy to travel a bit.

I've mentioned on another post, but thought I'd post here too so all can see.

If anyone is interested can you let me know? I'd really like to meet with others who contribute.

Lou I hope this is ok with you? :?:

Abi

I would love it if there was a group near me! I live in London, but unfortunately can't travel too far due to illness, furthest I make it at the moment is my friend's in south London lol! London is a pain because it's so busy and takes a while crossing it :x

Hope you get a group set up in the south, I shall make it if I can!

Jo xx

Would be nice to have a group in the south. Hants is just a bit too far for me, shame. Hopefully you will get something sorted out, did I read the red cross was interested in a Hants group?

Keep us updated!

Red |Cross in Hampshire has been in touch as they are stopping their knitting project and wanted to be able to guide their knitters in the direction of a group to take over their talents :0) Hoped we had a group in Hampshire so those who wanted could attend meetings and hand in their contributions there :0)

Thanks for your responses... I appreciate its probably a bit far for some of you. You never know though.

Excellent, Molly - I'm in Gosport where are you?

Lou - I'll be in touch about the Red Cross and how we go about setting the group up. It would be great if we can get some new members in too.

Ohhh I'm so excited!

be in touch soon.

Hi Abi

I am in Waterlooville so not that far. I don't drive but have a bus pass so could meet up somewhere or alternatively I could ask my husband to take me.

Molly

Gahhh... I live between Tunbridge Wells and Eastbourne...so it's a bit far for me too. I work in City of London (Jo) and Kent's not that far, depending on where you are Knitnatter.

Hi Abi

I live very close to you in Stubbington. I don't drive unfortunately and have a slight mobility problem (gammy knee) but would happily host 'knit and natter' mornings :)
