K2tog, that's exactly what I had to do for the Tattie scones recipe right at the very beginning of this thread. I usually judge by eye like so many of us. No ones been poisoned yet either - astonishing eh
Elaine, I have the recipe just got to do the measuring tomorrow if I have time

Maureen have you a favourite colour for said bib? also pm your addy and I will make you one. Does it need to be a pelican type - that way you can stuff the spare pernod into it instead of the wool in your cleavage.

Dammit, I completely forgot about this! I have at least 3 recipes to submit - will try to get it sorted 2nite.

x Rosie

btw. Maureen - I have a dreadful picture in my mind now of you sat in your armchair with your beer belly strapped on & a teatowel round your neck, trying to knit & eat cake at the same time.......my poor eyes!

If Maureen is having cake well I would just like to know where mine is?
Also Elaine has any of the "Pompey" mob sent you in the apple cake recipe or are they just eating it all themselves and keeping it a secret? I am trying to leave the apples on my trees for another couple of weeks when I should have the time to deal with them.

We need to get it through quality control yet on Wednesday, only when we have eaten lots... and lots... will we be able to advise if it reaches the required standard for the cookbook.

Its an awful job.....
