T o coin a phrase - `Calm down dear, it`s only a recipe` ( hate to tell you Jean your hooligan tendencies are showing )

Whisper - (Never mind, I`ve got a recipe for a Dorset apple cake anyway :P and it`s maybe better than theirs.)

Elaine.

btw. Maureen - I have a dreadful picture in my mind now of you sat in your armchair with your beer belly strapped on & a teatowel round your neck, trying to knit & eat cake at the same time.......my poor eyes!

A vision of lovliness indeed - eh girls?
Elaine.

To Rosie and Elaine, I have only one comment to make and that is "You should have gone to Specsavers!"

Hi Maureen, I recognise the slurping sounds.

Guess what I got this afternoon? ????
THE DORSET APPLE CAKE RECIPE.

Right ladies, (ladies?lol ) form an orderly queue, there will be enough cookbooks to go round.

Elaine.

Ok girls,

I know you`re all dying to get your hands on the apple cake recipe :P but if you want to have it you`ll have to send me MORE RECIPES. Right now I have only about half as many as I would like ( so that you get a decent book) - so come on - get those recipes sent in. The sooner I get them, the sooner the book will be produced. (Sound of whip cracking)

Elaine.x

Rains good Elaine, it makes lovely lush green grass, for the coo's tae munch, then they in turn make wonderful fresh milk to put in our tea, which is far too wet and we then have to eat CAKE with it, so we should be thankful for the rain! I will go and have a last rake through the file of recipes for just one more to go in the book.
Jean-no mentioning the weather cos being Scottish Blue - I hate the sun-
xx
