I found this pattern whilst browsing CrochetPattern Central, and thought it was particularly nice!

It makes a change from the usual rectangular shape blankets, and fun to add many colours etc. and the overall result is amazing! Plus it only requires 2 skeins of yarn, so a winner too!

I had a go at making this, for my little niece, in pink and purple and have to say it's come out really nice. Thinking about making more of these in a variety of colours to send in to Lou, if they are suitable?

Thought I would share and post it on Loving Hands in case anyone wanted to have a go at making a blanket but with a bit of a difference - it's really fun to crochet and you will love the end result.

No problem!

Although it did take me about 6 attempts to get past the first couple of rounds! I kept getting confused on one of the rounds that wasn't clear to me, but that may be because I haven't been crocheting long, so didn't understand it.

Oh, let me post it here, just in case others experience this -
in Round 2, it says SC in ch-1 stitch - I assumed that this meant the ch1 stitch that i had just made, I didn't realise that it meant the ch1 stitch from Round 1, and so kept getting it wrong until i realised this, as someone else mentioned it to me!

Just hope no one else experiences this and feels like they're making a mistake! Although no offence to the author, it is a beautiful blanket
