i agree its not a competition the hat you posted a picture of looks lovely Rhona.
BTW i meant i knitted 2 during the evening (not two in the hour er was on) i just meant id stopped doing other stuff to watch the programme, i hope it didnt come across as showing off implying i could speed knit
whether we knit 1 or 50 its the fact we are all taking the time to knit for good causes that is important. _________________ a wooly wooligan

had to step back from the hats for a few days while i did some squares that were outstanding on the wooligan blanket. Have got those finished and ready to post off today so will hopefully get the needles out again tonight for hats.
Lou i've got 2 balls of baby cotton (one pink one blue) are they ok for hats or do you think they'd be better used knittied up as something else? _________________ a wooly wooligan

Hi Mrs Moneypenny - love the name (I'm using my best Sean Connery accent.....it's non-existant, so I'm told!). I thought you were a bit quick with those hats....till you explained. Lou, Shelley and some of the others can knit a boob in 1 1/2hrs....mine takes around 4hrs! So it doesn't really matter as long as you're enjoying yourself and you send them in to add to the pile. I love looking at the piccies on the donations tab....showing off is great! So you go right ahead....we just love chatting and ribbing each other.
