Mag asked me to put these pics on for her. She's not long finished both and although they are not for LH she thought you might like to see them.

3 Ply shawl done on circular needles with 721 stitches!!!!

Mag what beautiful work you have so much patiencene - what hairlooms real treasures to keep forever.
Some baby will look beautiful in the shawl hope it goes through lots of generations.

You must be ever so proud when you look at your work - they have taken for ever - hope you have picked something a bit simpler for you next challenge.

Love and best wishes
Grandmanita

Fabulous work Mag. The shawl must have taken forever - I once crocheted in 2ply and gave up when it was crib sized - even with crochet it grew at snails pace.

The quilt is beautiful, I have a king size bed just crying out for such a thing.

I've done that shawl pattern too Mag for one of my brood many moons ago - don't have the time or patience to do them any more - well done you. I do love the quilt as well - haven'g quilted since I was in my twenties - didn't have the patience for that either - I must be just a knitter through and through (no twins I didn't say nutter :0). Glad you are better Mag and back in the fold - enjoy your trip down south and we look forward to hearing all about it when you come back xx

Mag the shawl is so pretty and the quilt is stunning. I take my hat off to you as they must have taken ages and completely beyond my scope as I have the attention span of a greenfly!

I did think I had somehow gone to bed last night and lost a year when I saw the date on the photos (and I don't drink)

Mag, what fantastic work, love that shawl pattern. The quilt is superb and you asked ME to do the animal activity book? I just hope your not disappointed when it arrives, get yourself on holiday and have a good rest.

Wonderful work, Mag. I once started a patchwork bedspread for a friend's baby. She's 23 now, and it's still not finished - any volunteers!?! You might just have inspired me to get it out again.
