Hello everyone.

At Friday’s meeting was Mag, Isobel, Pearl and Jean. They were joined by three lovely new ladies Rosie Milne, Lena Earnshaw and Valerie Brown. Welcome ladies and I hope you enjoyed the meeting.

Apologies were received from Barbara who was on holiday, Elaine who’s husband is still in hospital and myself as I was just back to work after 5 weeks off with Sciatica.

I hear there was torrential rain and you had to wait for it to stop before you could all leave the centre. Never mind it gave you time to wind down after what I hear was a rowdy two hours

Here are the donations from this meeting:

Kathleen popped in with her donations and said she has so much to do that she probably won’t be able to make it back to meetings until winter time now. There were 2 child’s jumpers, 2 child’s tops, 2 baby hats, 5 pairs of mittens, 2 pairs of booties and 2 adult hats. What a fantastic donation Kathleen and such lovely work :)

From Mag there were 2 Sands blankets and an Oxfam jumper. Beautiful work Mag :)

From Isobel there were 2 Oxfam jumpers, 1 Sands blanket and 1 lap rug. These are lovely Isobel, keep up the good work :)

From Pearl there were 6 fantastic boobs! Great work Pearl :)

From Rosie there were some lovely coloured squares. These are great Rosie and will make lovely blankets :)

There were also some lovely squares from Tere. I love the pale blue colour Tere and again these will make great blankets :)

From myself there were 3 preemie cardigans – Mag thank you very much for sewing them up for me, I never would have got round to it

Sounds like you all had another great meeting and the donations are just fantastic. We are producing quite a volume of items now.

Keep up the hard work everyone, it really is much appreciated :D

Not the nipple Do, just the boob is stuffed. The nipple is just gathered at the top. No two boobs are the same, so don't frett. They will all be put to good use.
Mag x :)
