 Don't be too shocked - here is our weekly report!!

Another good meeting last night, full of crack and laughter. Joining me was Jackie, Heather G, Barbara, Rebecca, Jennifer, Heather, Anne, Rosemary M, Jennifer M, Ann, Yvonne, Margaret H, Hilary and Georgina. My two daughters joined us for an hour (afraid of missing out!!) Barbara brought along a fireside quiz for us and we had all but one answer and all credit goes to Hilary who got the final answer to a burst of cheers and applause!! Well done Hilary - obviously the brains behind our operation.

Donations were fab as always.

Jackie was back with us despite being in hospital for tests all day. She brought with her a selection of goodies for our sale:

Heathers mother in law has donated these cardis, hats and booties. Although she can't get to our meetings we are delighted to have her on board with her lovely work:

The heroin of the hour, Hilary has donated these cardis for the sale and blanket for the hospice.

Excellent work everyone. Looking forward to our sale - just imagine all the gorgeous wool we will have to work with!!

Must go now and sew up some more stockings and then get on with the ironing (yuk)!!

See youse all next week,

Cherryl xx

What a huge number of members at your meeting, you must have had quite a party!
Lovely work from everyone as usual - I love the angels with the frizzy hair.

Nice work again ladies...... I loved the little poncho. Soooo cute. Some little girl will love that. Were the Angels hard to do? they look so difficult. Good luck for the sale those things will fly off the table.

Must agree that those angels are truly AMAZING! I would a.sk for the pattern but I already have so many lovely patterns "TO DO" that I will not ask for more! ( Maybe they could be posted for future reference)Sunday, to me, means no more kinitting for Age Concern. So then>>>>>.I will be into "Fund Raising " items (for our groups) then full blast to the winter challenges.

My OH Chris and I looked at the photos today and there were lots of 'wows' from him. We also particularly liked the angels but he was impressed with the curly blanket too. His comments were 'what a special lot of ladies (and men) there were in Loving Hands and how talented'. (I agree with him).

Keep up the good work, all the donations are fabulous.

Thanks ladies for all your encouraging posts.

Abi - Jackie lightly spray starched her angels. They are absolutely fab. Though we went home with one less angel and Heather bought one for her Christmas tree.

Thanks again everyone,

Cherryl xx
