:lol: Here we go with last weeks news :0)

Present were Myself, kelly, Anne Marie, maureen, Kirsty, Stella, Margaret G, Margaret C, Isabel, Gladys, Isobel, Jean and Grace.

Donations were :-

Stella - 3 prem cardies, 2 prem hats, 1 mans waistcoat, 1 mans neckwarmer and 1 mans hat :0)

from Isobel we had 1 doll and shoe box items along with 1 baby cardie :0)

Isa and Ingie sent in another two lap rugs :0)

From Janis - (scatty) - Margaret C's lovely daughter. We had her very first four kids jumpers - wonderful work!

and an anonymous donor handed in this wee jumper to Kate in the Post office :0)

Lovely things, as always. I loved Janis's multi-coloured children's jumpers. Had never thought to make them in 2 colours like that.

It is a great wayt to make loveloy colourful jumpers and cardies while using up odd balls of yarn at the same time. I have done them in four or five toning colours doing the front back and sleeves in different colours with a fifth colour for the ribs and cuffs and neckband - looks great!

Multi coloured items do look lovely, it's just the sewing in of the ends that drives me bonkers.

Thanks for the lovely comments about the jumpers - must confess to Lou though - my mum said when she handed them in that you noticed the different pattern bits on the fronts of the jumpers - I read the pattern wrong a wee bit (! scatty by name scatty by nature!) - they still looked okay though :lol:
Working on my Mr Men toys just now! Stitching some up ready for stuffing!
