The sweater knitted by Janis - was that knitted with that new wool that everyone seems to be talking about? Walking down the high street this week they had some in the window of the wool shop with a knitted sweater. Looks pretty cool and worth a try except it was priced at £2.35/100g which is pretty pricey for me.

Hi Winterknitter ! The wool is from Instore (Poundstretcher) and it was £4 for a huge ball (about 350g i think) - it is Aran wool - i didn't know it was different from double knit because i have just started knitting
Lots of nice wool at instore just now!

I bought a ball of that aran wool today in Instore as well in the tan and apricot shades - they had some fabulous yarns in - could have gone daft but DH was with me so had to behave myself - he didn't even bat an eyelid when he saw the wool in my basket mind you - must be getting used to me at last xx
