Hello everyone,
I was so sorry not to be able to get to your last meeting, I was so looking forward to meeting everyone, but after finishing work, driving back to Bognor (from Havant) and then cooking dinner, there wasn't enough time to get back to Cosham but it sounds as though it was a good meeting. The pictures of everyones finished items are lovely.
After having found this site, I have been inspired to knit baby things and have made a couple of little jackets, booties and hats, so hopefully I will be able to get to the next meeting. I am not sure what the date will be, but if you could let me know, I will try to be more organised and get to the meeting.
Sue

Hello Sue

Our next meeting is Wednesday 12th August and we'd love to see you there if you can make it. As July is a long old month... (thank goodness for payday tomorrow)... it is a three week gap from last weeks meeting instead of the usual two.

I know what you mean about seeing all the donations, its very inspiring to have a go at something else isn't it and it sounds like you have been really busy!

Take care of yourself, and look forward to meeting you soon.

Love Abi x

Hello Sue

It would be great if you could get to the next meeting on 12th August.

Everyone is really friendly and we have a great time. We even manage to do some knitting as well as chatting and generally enjoying ourselves.

Molly

I don't suppose the apple cake will last until the 26th August as I will be at home looking after my other half on 12th August (assuming the op goes ahead). :( Oh well, my derriere is starting to spread as well!!!

Molly

Oooooh stop it you lot - not fair when some of us are trying to beat their daughters in a 'biggest loser' contest - no apple cake, apple pie or anything like that for me for another 49 weeks at least! :0( Never mind I was 18st 8 1/2 last Wednesday and when I had a a sneaky look on my scales on Wednesday this week I was 18st 1 1/2 so that is 7 pounds off already and we don't have our next weigh in till Sunday so I am hoping to be under 18 stones for the time in goodness knows how many years :0) Before my accident last year 1 was over 20 stones so there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Salbe - you shouldn't be having apple cake, let alone with 'snow' (sugar) on the top. Shades of your childhood eh? Never mind - I have made one specially for you next week! - Mum
I shall also make another for the 26th, Molly, so don't worry you won't get a mouldy bit of left-over!
Perhaps I should just bring along a bag of apples after all?
