 OK girls - time to reinforce some happy, positive thought - I have been saddened over the last few days with the negative vibes coming from parts of the group so with the New Year looming I thought it was time to send some sunshine out your way and get everyone back on track and ready for a productive 2009!

I will be announcing the totals of the Winter Challenges on the 15th January as our deadline is the 14th for items to be in.

What I want from you all is suggestions for the next time - I have had one from Suzanne which is brilliant and I am sure will meet with your approval so if anyne else has any suggestions as to what we can put into our next challenges please send me a pm with your ideas :0) Don't post on the open Forum mind - you know how I like to keep everyone in suspense as to what they are to be! :0)

We also got a brilliant donation from one of our members (Ann Glendinning) she has been raising money in the shop where she works for charities and they decided to gift us £200 towards our postage fund for 2009 - what a wonderfull, generous, gift Ann - please give all your co-workers a great big hug from all of us - thank you!

What a lovely thoughtful gift, and very useful for the postage fund.
Sorry you have been upset by negative vibes Lou, generally I think the group does well to get along, especially as so many of us are on the forum and therefore unknown and unseen to each other.
There will always be hic-cups with organisation, that's life, we should all try to be positive in 2009, we have alot to be thankful for.

I shall try very hard to look on the bright side of life in the coming year.

Have not come up with any suggestions for challenges yet but am thinking hard
Nita

That is a lovely present for the postage fund.

Can't wait to see the results of the winter challenge. Hope my parcel gets there in time. Will be in the post tomorrow.

We are like a big family so there are bound to be upsets every now and then but we will get over them and be one happy bunch again.

Will get my thinking cap on for a suggestion for the next challenge.

Just want to say what an excellent donation from Ann and that a parcel will be on its way this week or early next and am looking forward to the next challenge.

Personally speaking LH has been great for me since I retired earlier this year and it's many, many thanks to Lou and everyone for making it so. I've enjoyed knitting and hoping someone will benefit from it and I look at the website and forum most days.

So, for everyone feeling under the weather at present - positive and happy thoughts to all.

Group hug! Maggiemay

I'm still rushing to finish off items to get them in for 14th but am also excited and champing at the bit to find out what's next on the cards! Sorry, haven't read anything or heard anything lately....so will just concentrate my energies on finishing off....unless I have a flash of inspiration.

Thanks for your rays of sunshine Lou and everyone else. I have been ill...one thing after another, from about October, so I'm hoping that 2009 will be a lot healthier for me. So logging onto the Forum puts everything in perspective and stops me from groaning as I really have to thank my lucky stars that my illnesses are only minor! Definitely got my positive hat on.
