 Here we are - finally - trying to do a catch up this morning so here are the minutes from last weeks meeting :0)

Present were :- Myself, Kelly, Gladys, Isabel, Margaret G, Stella, Grace, Margaret C, Irene, Jean and Isobel.

Kate had to work, Suzanne was unwell, Wendy working and we don't know what has happened to Mighty Mo and her helpers - must give the Bleachfields a call to find out if all is well :0)

It was a lovely meeting as always and as we hadn't had time to bake I picked up a big box of chocolate logs to bring along to the meeting :0)

Donations were great as always :-

From Isobel we had a pretty baby cardigan :0)

Image

from Margaret C her very first contributions - 2 lovely kids cardies - well done Margaret :0)

Image

from Irene - also her first contributions - 2 pairs of mittens, 1 hat, mitts and cardie for a baby - well done Irene -and you told me you wouldn't have much time to knit :0)

Image

Kelly had finally finsihed her very first T Jumper - we are all so proud of you Kelly - I know you were determined to get there even though you had grown to hate the colour of the wool and felt it was never ending - good luck with the doggy bed you are now working on the beautiful blue will hopefully spur you on :0)

Image

Stella brought in 3 blankets from mum Isa and auntie Ingie - these are great as always - I think your family are trying to keep the world warm all by themselves Stella :0)

Image

and finally from Margaret G we had two lovely kids tops - these will go down really well for our kids challenge this time Margaret - thank you :0)

Image

and that concludes the meeting of 25th May :0)

Beautiful work everybody, I am jealous I can't make to your meetings - not even for the cakes!

Well done girlies, everything looks lovely.

I wonder how many chocolate logs were left at the end of the meeting?!?

Well done Kelly on working with wool that you don't like the colour - it is so hard to get through something when you don't like the wool or the colour.

Well done to the ladies with their first donation - it is so rewarding.

Keep up the great work,

Cherryl xx

Maureen - you really should look out for that dribbling - it could be misconstrued! (SP?).
