Hi Lou
Nearly finished my sands blaket, when I came to do the border it didnt work out right. So I looked at the Sands pattern and it seems row 9 and 10 of the border are the wrong way round. Hopefully it will work out ok now.Should have it off in the post Monday with a few other Items, great challenge by the way :D
Wendy

Does it have to be that exact? Do they look that closely? I know mine might be rejected 'cos 1) it's in crochet and 2) done pattern by picture so probably not right at all.....have got dodgy eyes!

Archers Adict - THERE SHOULD BE A WARNING ON INNOCENT SMOOTHIE HATS - VERY ADDICTIVE. Wee hats go on the bottles and when they go through the check out at Sainsbury's (?) 50p is donated to Age concern here is a link to the pattern and the article exlaining it all far better than I can
www.innocentdrinks.co.uk/thebigknit/
takes minutes to make them but you have been warned - they are worse than any other addiction you may have had in your life!
Jean in France - hope its sunny for you today
xx

Ah well, too late. I have ripped it out and am almost done and I have to say it looks MUCH better than my first attempt. I am a bit annoyed at Sands for not changing their pattern on their website even when the problem was spotted in April! I know they probably have more important things to be getting on with but they still should have changed it. Thanks for all of your help everyone. I do appreciate it :D

Well done Winterknitter. Once you're sorted - can you do a close up picture so I can see what the pattern should look like? Bit like the one you did before under your thread Sands blanket. I've decided to do another as should have enough white but crochet again. Had thought of doing it plain - without border - but think it's boring - look lovely with pretty border around. So would be really grateful so I can modify my final stage. Thanks.

Thanks Lou - should be able to pick up at the weekend on home PC as can't see on here....gahhhh! Really appreciate it - will do my best. Finished main body of Sands blanket but left it to one side for the border. Just finishing multi-coloured blanket made from some strips I was given. Have unpicked them all and joined them together. Hope it doesn't do some poor animal's eyes in!

I have just posted the correct pattern with the measurements needed to make sure you get the right size and also so you can get the whole blanket out of your 250grms of dk (with the correct lacey border pattern too). It is in our patterns section now for you all :0)
