Hello Elaine,
I didn't post earlier, but just to let you know that I was thinking of you and your DH and hoping everything went well with the op.
I know the waiting was difficult for you and I'm sure the next couple of weeks will be stressful too, in a different way. But you'll both get through it and hopefully be able to enjoy the rest of the summer without having the worry of ill health.
All the very best to you both.
Joy

Just read your news as not been on for a while. Hope everything has gone well and will be looking out for you update. I know everything took place yesterday, but am thinking of you and Jim and sending positive, healing thoughts for a speedy recovery. Try and get some rest if you can, I know it is exhausting. Lorraine & Nigel.

Elaine is a very busy lady at present visiting hospital but has let Alana and myself know that Jims op went well. He was in intensive care for a few days then on to high dependancy. I'm sure Elaine will be back on the forum soon when she has time. Our best wishes for a speedy recovery to Jim and best wishes to you Elaine, you must be exhausted.

Hope you didn't mind, a few anxious friends from LH wondering about you both.

love from us all at LH

Mag x :)

Bless you Mag - we were all getting anxious for news - so glad the op went OK and he is on his road to recovery. We will all be delighted to hear from Elaine herself when she manages to get back online.

Not good news.

Jim went back into intensive care on Sunday after developing pneumonia. He`s on a kidney machine, ventilator, and heart machine to try to pull him through but things are not looking good for him, so we are spending all our time at the hospital.

Oh dear - you are both in our prayers - try to keep your chin up - my family tell me those hours waiting in intensive care for me to wake up were the longest and hardest of their lives. Sending love and positive energy your way - do let us know if anything changes - we are all here for you xxx
