I found Readicut to be rubbish aswell. Ordered one thing, got something completely different (not even the same sort of yarn) - I think they ought to ask first, not just send the wrong thing as a replacement, if you want to make a lacy summer top then a bag full of fun fur ain't much use!!
It's Kemps all the way for me. Just got enough Washed Haze Aran to do a (big) February Lady Sweater & all for 59p/ball.....kerching!

Has anyone used their Knitwit yet and if so, what have you made? I tried mine and struggled to get the wool off the thing and haven't tried it again since. I'm very fickle - when things don't work out, I give up! I think its years of encouraging my students to persevere etc - now I don't have to, I can just put an unsuccessful task down and leave it.

WARNING DO NOT READ IF YOU REALLY DON'T WANT TO BUY MORE YARN .....
My daughter wanted some pure wool in particular colours for a project but did not want to pay designer prices so I tried the usual suspects Kemps, Blacksheepwool, Abakhan with no luck.
http://www.silverviscount.co.uk/shop/index.php
was recommended to me (yes the sewing machine people) and I found the colours needed in superwash wool and at £12.04 for 500g. I clicked on the half price knitting wool and amongst the bargains they have 500g cones of 80% acrylic 20% wool DK for £3!! I was good and just ordered 2 cones -has anyone used them before? P & P for 4 x 500g cones was £4.83.

Not tried them yet - you must tell us what the delivery time is like and what the yarn is like when you get it too - could easily be tempted!
