Big shock girlies - here is our meeting report - on time!!!

We had a quiet meeting last night - at times you could hear the needles going. Joining me was Barbara, Heather, Jackie, Gillian, Ingrid, Anne, Georgina, Maggie and Rosemary. Rebecca couldn't make it but left two lovely blankets at my house, for some reason I am having trouble uploading the photo but will get working on it and add it on.

Loads of donations. Talking with Linda last week has definetly got the needles clicking.

Heather completed a basketweave blanket, couple of vests and a hat:

Jackie donated some blankets and cardis. She also brought another blanket made from Gillians squares which she crocheted together - it fell out of her bag last week (yeah right - I reckon she was trying to keep it!!!!).

Ingrid was away on holiday but managed to complete these squares for knit a square:

Gillian and her mum have been busy with this donation of blankets, hats, squares and a lovely shawl for the elderly:

Georgina donated a blanket from a local car boot sale, a blanket and vests that she had completed and hubby donated 10 hats (keep up the great work):

Maggie made it tonight and unfortunately was disappointed that there was yet again no banana bread. As promised, there will be banana bread on your next visit. Maggie brought with her this lovely blanket and hats:

Jackie brought with her fabulous meringues and butterfly buns. Absolutely gorgeous!!! She also brought fab blankets and cardis:

Finally, Heather had taught her neighbour Cathi to crochet some weeks ago. Cathi called down to visit Heather and brought these fabulous blankets. They are a perfect size and are a great addition to our donations. Well done Cathi - keep up the great work:

As always girlies, great work and great donations. Keep up the good work. Youse are a brilliant bunch.

Take care,

Cherryl xx

Lovely donations girls. I can't believe how much you manage to donate at each meeting - how often do you meet?
It takes me at least a week to do something small like a sands blanket or baby cardi as I don't have much time after working full time and then all the usual family/home stuff that needs to be done -like eating and sleeping....

I just love seeing all the great work you do. I wish I could come to your meeting too. The banana bread, meringues, etc are also a big temptation. I bet when you were quiet you were munching. LOL. Lovely work. Silver Surfer
