I don't want everyone to be shocked - but here is last nights meeting report!!!! :o

We had a great laugh last night. Joining myself was Barbara, Jackie, Rebecca, Ingrid, Jennifer, Gillian, Anne, Margaret L Hilary, Georgina, Pat and Maureen. It was lovely to see (and hear) Hilary back with us (she keeps Anne going something shocking)!!!

Great donations again girlies - well done to each one of you.

Jackie had her usual bag of goodies and malteser buns (we have no problem sampling any of your baking). I will be looking out the pattern for last weeks pink and cream blanket (this week it is black and white) and will post it on the forum for the girlies who want to give it a go.

Rebecca completed this lovely scarf:

Margaret L completed 2 vests for knit a square:

It was great to see Maureen again. She is going to be looking after a Loving Hands group in Rathcoole, Newtownabbey on Mondays from 2.00 - 3.30pm starting in September. Maureen, be assured of our full support with your group and will help in every way possible.

Thanks to Rebecca for her help with my crochet socks (even though I took a tonne of flack for it)!!!!

Thanks again girlies, see youse next week.

Cherryl xx

Great news that the Rathcoole group has a starting date Cherryl - will she be able to get onto a computer to give us all their news and updates? If so we will have to set up a Rathcoole section on here for all of their news and stories :0) Mayvbe if she doens't have her own internet access one of her members will be able to do it and can act as 'media secretary' for the group :0) Give her my number if she wants to find out any more - I do love talking to all of my lovely Colleens on the phone xx

Great donations ladies, loved all those pretty little jumpers for knit a square.

Very good luck for the new group starting up. I hope you will have as much fun as we do in the Portsmouth group.

Lovely donations. What a clever lot of busy bees you have been.
Is there a pattern somewhere for the knit a square jumpers? They look like the ideal thing to do when I go on my hols in a few weeks.

Jacqui, I think this is the pattern you are looking for, I hope the link works.

Just scroll down a little and you will see the little stripey jumper.
