At Friday’s meeting there was Isobel, Mag, Grace, Moira, Elaine and myself.

It was an absolutely miserable rainy day, but we all had a good natter and even managed a fair bit of knitting as well :)

There were plenty of donations as usual and lots of tea and biscuits.

From Isobel there were 2 adult slipovers, 1 child’s slipover, 3 hats, 1 pair of socks and what started out as a hat, but ended up as a very sweet bag instead  Plus 2 carrier bags of kids things for the shoe boxes - fantastic Isobel!

From Mag there was 1 adult’s hat, 1 preemie Christmas hat, 1 boob, 1 face cloth with a greyhound’s head on it and 1 little cardigan. Lovely work Mag.

From Grace there were 2 pairs of very sweet little mittens.

From Moira there were 18  little tops and 3 little hats. Great work Moira.

From myself there were 2 baby hats and 1 purse.

Great work everyone and thanks for a lovely meeting. I look forward to seeing you all next time.

Wow, great work ladies. Loved the slipovers and am amazed that Moira produced so many little jumpers. I do like that pattern they look like little 'off the shoulder' jobs lying flat like that. I haven't actually made one yet but keep promising myself that I will.

Good to see all your wonderful hard work - is Moira being declared as a factory? Oh was there by any chance some cake? See I miss the meetings and just like to keep informed so I can decide later which one of the meetings I should attend.

No Jean,

No cake - just lots of biscuits. Folk up here are too busy knitting to bake cakes :D

Send me some of your sunshine please - it`s still raining here today and I`m fed up o` it :P

Elaine.
ps not sure if we`d let a `hooligan` in to one of our very quiet orderly meetings

You`re a star - we`ll need the sun that weekend to bring the crowds out, so I`ll just sit inside, nice and cosy and get on with the knitting today.

Elaine.

This is fantastic. Moira needs all the biscuits she can manage to keep her strength up for her next KNITATHON! Well done to Moira and to everyone else for all your beautiful things.

Fantastic everyone. Love the slipovers, they look very complicated, not sure I could manage that. Wonderful donations as always.

Aran ready patterned wool from Poundstretcher so only difficult bit is picking up stitches to do the neck and armholes.
