No worries Jean
I remembered you saying about your holiday next week and thought it must have been this week instead!

Its not easy to keep up with the knitting when you are entertaining, and over holiday time as well... I know I've had the same problem. But whatever we donate is brilliant - whether its one item or a hundred. It all matters.

I loved Julies Lion too - definitely worth keeping at the loopy stitch... as frustrating as it is.

Look forward to seeing you at the next meeting, and I hope you have a lovely holiday. :D

Hi Jean

We missed you last week but I know how difficult it is when other things are happening. Hope you enjoy your holiday. Phillip and I are going away on 7th September for a few days to see friends and family. Seems as if we have waited a lifetime to get away this year.

Hi Maureen

I don't think anyone at the group has seen me move as fast as I did last Wednesday when I saw the cake on the table. That was before it was officially handed out to everyone! By the way, did you get the pm I sent you a little while ago?

Molly

Hello

Oooohh
Love the photos & all the donations, especially the finger puppets !

I saw some finger puppets at a craft stall recently, that were selling for £1 each.
I was tempted to buy some for the shoeboxes. Then I thought, I wonder how many I could make out of a ball of wool, quite a few, I suppose !
Im tempted to make some, but Ive already got a few other knitting projects on the go, maybe when if I get some spare time....

Thank you for the inspiration !

Hello to you Molly. I did get your PM and was so pleased to hear from you. I thought I had sent a reply but the Good Lord is the only one who knows why some messages go and others do not. Yours was one that remains floating somewhere in the universe! It seems that if I try to do a reply it goes anywhere except where it should but if I try to contact a person through the members list then the message gets through. Well I tried that this week and previous messages which were not sent worked. Could be coincidence! OR, could be me being thick!

Brtilliant work again everyone. Love the toys and finger pupetts. Good to see the group and be able to put names to faces, not that I would recognise you if I met you anywhere though.

Keep it up folks.

Mag x :)

Hi Maureen and Dot

I think these modern machines just do what they want sometimes and you just don't get messages and can't type up in the way you want to. Nevermind, at least we can all stay in contact by whatever means.

Hi Sue

Glad you enjoyed the evening last week. It was lovely to meet you especialy when you have quite a long trek to get to us.

Molly

Am I the only person who finds out they've pm'd themselves? I've done it twice lately!

I've not managed that one yet...but I must admit I bet I could not manage it even if I tried!
