There were only three of us at Friday’s meeting, Isobel, Mag and myself.

Not sure what happened to the others but we had a lovely couple of hours knitting, chatting away, doing a puzzle at the same time and modelling Isobel’s hats and wrist warmers :P

Isobel had made a beautiful man’s aran jumper with a hat and scarf to match, another 3 hats, 5 Innocent veg pot warmers (not wrist warmers - sorry Isobel) and a pair of lovely socks as well – you have been busy as usual Isobel, fantastic work :)

Nothing this time from Mag and myself. Mag’s been busy with her cousin from Australia and i’m still knitting the back of my man's slipover. We did have lots of donations of wool from various people though.

Susan who runs the community centre had a large bag for us that one of her friends had kindly donated. A lovely lady called Arlene that I met through freecycle a couple of months ago dropped in with 3 or 4 bags for us and hopes to join us at the Stonehaven meetings in the future. I had a bag from another lady in response to my freecycle request and Mag had also picked some up from one of the charity shops for £1.

I picked up more wool and sewing patterns on Friday night, wool and toy stuffing yesterday and have a final pick up of two black bin bags of wool today so can’t wait to see what there is.

Thanks for a lovely afternoon ladies x

Sorry Isobel about the veg pot warmers. Alana was modeling them as wrist warmers and it went on from there. You can't get the staff these days, time to move on for another laugh.

We will be better for the next session, wont we???????????

Mag x :)

Jean, Definately more cake and knitting, not so sure about the crocheting. And also lots of laughter.

Keep up the good work everyone.

Mag x :)

Keeping my fingers crossed that the weather behaves this time :)
I went to the cinema on Friday evening, great film but I nodded off I think for just a few minutes.

My new driving licence arrived today and the photo is in black and white so I really do look like death warmed up, lol.
Good to drive for another 3 years.

How is the Kincardine quiz going?
Isobel

Thanks Isobel - i think i missed my calling. I could have been a hat model :P My big head is great for modelling men's hats but my middle is definitely too big for modelling veg pot warmers
