I'm a newbie, have only signed up today. A pity i missed the last meeting by a week or so would be good to meet you all. Hopefully i'll be well on my way and have a few garments knitted for the next meeting. Can someone tell me how often you guys meet up and where? I live in Comber. Although from Scotland and don't know my way around Northern Ireland too well i'm sure my (sometimes) trustworthy satnav will get me to the meeting lol

Hi Michelle,

Just been on google maps and it says it would take you 37 minutes to get to Carrickfergus from Comber. Although I think it would be a bit longer - I would love for you to be able to join in the craic with us. Jackie (our supercook) bakes lovely goodies for our meeting, last night we had mars bar cheesecake and last week we had mint aero cheesecake - gorgeous!!!! We have wool, needles, patterns etc plus loads of inspiration.

I will meet you in somewhere in Carrickfergus i.e. the castle and you can follow me up to the community centre if you are able to make it.

Ya had me at mars bar cheesecake cherryl I will do my best to make it. I've never been in carrickfergus so i'm no sure where the castle is either but i will look up the address of the community centre and see if my sat nav finds it. If not i'll let ya know and hopefully manage to find the castle to follow you up.

That Mars bar cheesecake made me think that a trip to Carrickfergus seems like a really good idea. Will I be glad when the Doctors say I can travel again!
