Meeting - Thursday 24th September

We had a quieter than usual meeting last night, joining me was Barbara, Heather, Jackie, Margaret, Ingrid, Hilary, Gillian, Georgina, Pat and Sasha (Georginas Grand-Daughter).

Brilliant donations, some for sending away, some for shoeboxes and some stock for our sale.

Georgina donated these items for the shoebox appeal for Blythswood:

Georginas Hubby (Noel) completed these hats and Pat knit matching scarves for the shoebox appeal:

Georgina also completed her Rippled Blanket, very well done:

Heather completed another hoodie:

Gillian (and her mum) completed these scarves for men for the shoebox appeal and a dolls blanket for the sale:

Jackie has been working away on stock for our sale. She has completed a selection of crocheted food - strawberries, sweets, cupcakes and ice cream cones (guaranteed fat free):

She has also completed some berets, snuggles, blanket and cardi:

I have completed some purses, scrunchies, lavender sachets and now working on some baby blankets for the sale.

Well done girlies - great work everyone.

What beautiful work, I did some of the Jean Greenhowe Christmas stockings for Elaine and Mag for both their forthcoming sales, and Mag has said she might put some sweets into them. I just love the ice cream cones, you are all so brilliant.

Wow what a lot of lovely creations, do I detected a new romance blossoming between Noel and Pat? and does Georgina know they are joining together to make sets. LOL. :oops:

Jackie, her work looks good enough to eat. Such a sweet range of goodies. No more bad puns till the next post.

Fantastic donations as always everyone and I just love the knitted cakes, they are so realistic but without the calories.
