Jackies daughter, Joanne, helps out at the Girls Brigade in Downshire Presbyterian Church here in Carrickfergus. The lady who knits their hats and scarves for their donation to Operation Christmas Child is away for a year on missionary work. We were delighted to donate to her 15 baby jumpers and 60 hats. I spoke to the girls at the meeting last night and we are committing ourselves to knitting/crocheting the hats and scarves for their appeal until the lady returns from her missionary work. So Noel and Pat - keep up the great work!!

Linda headed off to Bulgaria yesterday and she has hopefully been able to fit our donation of 7 shawls and 30 hats into her luggage.
