[b] Hi everyone at the Portsmouth group. Just checked on line to see all the lovely photos from Wednesday meeting - but alas found none! have I worked out the dates wrongly? probably knowing me , these senior moments keep happening!!!

Hello Sue

No meeting this week as we meet every 2nd and 4th Weds of the month so it worked out at a three week gap between meets this time. Next Weds 14th is the next one. Nothing wrong with senior moments, we have earned it.

It does seem ages since the last meeting but at least it gave me a chance to finish the shawl for my sister in law and time to make a few bits to take to the next in time for the end of the Autumn challenge.

Hi to all the other Portsmouth girlies too. See you next week.

I haven't been able to get very much finished since last lot of goodies Molly delivered for me so I shall hang onto them until meeting after next.

Got your big box the other day Lynn - well done to hubby - his expansion techniques really work! I have reused the box to fill full of toys for Algerian Action! :0)

Glad it got to you safely Lou. Yes my DH is very practical and happily helps out for LH too. (and he buys me wool!)

I decided not to deprive the children of them Lynn - they were lovely though -I have now got my beautiful big painting that I bought with my birthday money - a small graceful standing ornament I bought myself, a comic giraffe lying down with her legs in the air that I got from Sharon, my beautiful big model with the long eyelashes that Kelly gave me and a couple of sconces with giraffe cut outs that I got at a candle party so I am doing rather well giraffe wise :0) Both colourways were lovely and I can just imagine the smiles on the faces of the children when they see them :0)
