Thought I'd throw my hat into the ring and I'd put a post to see if there is anyone in the Swindon area who would like to form a group. I'd love to be part of a local LH group.

Come on all you folks around the Swindon area, come along and help out with forming another group. There are lots of you, I used to live (for 48 yrs) a few out of town and knew lots of knitters. I would join you when I come down to visit family and friends as the knitting always comes too. Hope you have success.

I have been in touch with Jenn (Winterknitter) and am going to meet up with her while down from Aberdeen after 23 October to Swindon, how would you like to meet another LH knitter along with the knitting? Its not far, we used to live at Lyneham and I uesed to go back and forth to Fairford fairly regularly. From me to the Aberdeen group it is a 60 mile round trip and Swindon is only a 500 miles 8 hours down the road. I'd be happy to pop over.

All being well, should be in Swindon on Monday October 26 and look forward to meeting up with Jenn (winter knitter & west country girl) and Ruth at Fairford, will probably be round your way too.
