If you do not have a dressing gown try a long blouse or a man's shirt...better than showing your bottom!

Hi Lesley...just in case I don't get to post tomorrow or you don't get to look.....best of luck for Monday. I will be thinking of you. Try not to worry about it....it usually turns out not as bad as you build it up to be. I'm awful...a real wimp...but I survived - won't be wearing the t-shirt though! Laughing

Hi all

Thanks for all your thoughts, I've just looked at my letter again and the appointment is on 9th July, I must have just seen the 7 and thought it was on the 7th, it even says Wednesday. Embarassed I must be getting old.

The lump had shrunk but it seems to be growing again just now so hopefully it won't grow too much before Wednesday or I'll probably end up looking like Frankenstein's monster. Laughing

Lesley

HI, Lesley, try not to worry, the more you think about it the bigger it will seem! It's quite understandable to get mixed up, your not old, just a bit stressed. We will all be wishing you well.

Lesley...you're not old....you're stressing! I get in a panic and get things wrong....although I do try to blame it on my dodgy eyesight. I will think of you on Wednesday instead.

Talking of dodgy eyesight...I have a habit of coming home with the slightly wrong thing. As an example - I bought one day and one night cream that was on special - I even double checked. When I got home...I had two day creams! Just recently I had another experience - I bought some Paxo breadcrumbs but when I got home they weren't in my bag...so I checked the receipt as I was going to phone up to ask if I had left them at the checkout.....but it wasn't on the receipt either. I spent a good few minutes looking 'cos I had to choose between golden and natural and had to stretch up to the top shelf. My husband started to hum the twighlight zone music! Hope this made you smile Cool

all the best for wednesday Lesley.

Lorraine, your comments made me laugh. just this week I went to make a cup of tea, got the mug out ready etc. when the kettle boiled decided that i fancied a coffee instead, so put the coffee in the mug, filled with water and stirred... to find a teabag already in there too. i don't remember putting the teabag in the cup at all! so had a cup of tea/coffee.
and it's not my age, I'm (only) 32!! Rolling Eyes

Well I am back from the hospital and the lump has been successfully removed, the anaesthetic hasn't worn off yet so it isn't painful just now. I didn't have to take all my clothes off though just my t-shirt so the hospital staff were spared having to look at my bottom Laughing

The cyst has been sent to the lab but the consultant thinks that everything will be okay.

Lesley

Hi Lesley

I am sure you are glad that is all over and I hope it is not too painful when the anaethestic wears off. I had a lump removed from my leg last year and everything was okay. Hope all goes well.

Molly

Gosh....that was quick Lesley. Glad it went smoothly and that you didn't have to do a moonie to the hospital staff! Hope that's the end of it for you. Now the important thing is that you rest up and recover.
