Note mistake; On the first and alternate rows of the pattern you knit 2 (not3), purl to the last stitch then K1.

Elaine there are two pattern corrections as follows, the second i always forgot about as i automatically knit the one stitch that is left, can't do much else with it

"Rows 1 and alt rows (WS): K2, Purl across to last st, K1"

"Next row 2: *K1, K2tog. Rep from * across to last st, K1"

I just use DK on 4mm or size 8 needles. It's really pretty in pastel colours.

That's lovely, think that'll be added to the ever-growing things to make list.

Ooooh lovely. Just printed it off and noted the corrections. That's definitely in the queue of things to do. I must be good though. I've completed my box for LH (waiting for parcel collection at the moment) and I've promised myself that in the gap between now and the next challenge I must finish the two baby cardis I have on the go.
Then I have to knit no less than 4 gifts for new babies due from end Jan through till May - but I can alternate those with LH knitting. Oh dear so much yarn & patterns, so little time
Best Wishes
