Lou. posted 1st lot of sewing today ,at last minute got donation of knits which I have included. I do not want to take credit for these as they are better than I could knit. From a nice lady who usually knits for the animal shelter !

We are getting there and its not yet halfway through May. Have just got to the decrease on my Sands blanket so I should get the second half done more quickly (or is that just a myth :!: :wink: ) Keep it up girls. :D Dot

You're right, Dot - the decreasing half always seems quicker! I know it's the same number of stitches/rows really, but it does seem to take half the time. I'm nearly at the end of the square part, so just the edging to do now.

Yeh think I've finally sourced your last update Lou - we are going great guns. Finished another blanket last night so will be parcelling up my donations for the summer challenge and sending on to you next week. Must get on with putting some love and new paint into my home as I've been ignoring it lately and I have still to try and knit that peppa pig - I do land myself with some jobs! lol Andrea

Come on everyone..keep up the good work and let us up the total for those sands blankets. I have almost finished my second one thanks to the wool donation from Lou. I am enjoying doing them whilst sitting in my chair egging on the underdogs (and the stars too) at Wimbledon.
