So here we are girls at the finishing line for the summer challenges of 2008. I have a few donations to get posted tonight as I have just put up the totals - well done toall of you for such great work!
Donna from New Zealand has sent another amazing package of 17 baby hats and 17 pairs of bootees - these are really beautiful Donna!
Pauline (PaulaJ) has sent us 2 crochet blankets, 8 angel pockets, 5 gowns - 2 of these were crocheted and then lined with fabric - very pretty indeed! 9 baby hats and 1 baby cardi - fantastic Pauline!
Maureen has sent along 5 teddies, 2 baby hats, 2 sleeping bags and 1 v neck jumper - Maureen asks if we can remember her lovely mum in our prayers sadly her cancer has returned with complications this time - our thoughts are with you and your family Maureen - they can work wonders these days :0)
Louise (bellydancer) has made another 15 teddy bags! Great contribution Louise - they always need these as they tend to get more bears than bags in!
Molly has sent in 1 teddy, 1 gown with matching bonnet, 1 pram star and 1 blanket - these are great Molly - thank you! :0)

Nita has forwarded a wonderful donation from a lady called Veronica - Veronica visited Nota's patchwork group and was so impressed by our Teddies appeal that she went home to Wales and posted 3 bears and 3 nags to Nita for us! Thank you Veronica these are great! Hopefully Veronica will see this and decide to join up with us too and keep up the good work!

I thought we were coming to the end of the challenge, too. If it is only 3 and a half weeks, I'll start another Ted today.
All the donations have been wonderful - the Teddies are fantastic; just imagine what joy they'll bring to their new owners! It melts your heart, doesn't it?
