Thought I would start a new thread for the donations we receive in the run up to the Summer Challenge targets :0) I did most of this the other night and then the server went down for maintenance after I had spent nearly two hours working on it! I lost the whole lot! (Air was definitely purple!). This time I will post in sections I think - just to be on the safe side!
Don't know what I have posted and what I haven't in the last couple of weeks so guess I will try to put it all on!
Monday Kelty meeting:-
Lynn brought I crochet blanket, 1 Prem hat and 1 prem cardi - thanks Lynn! For your first attempt at crocheting a blanket this is fantastic! Well done!
Gladys came in with two of her lovely crocheted squares blankets and one sailors hat :0)
Then at Kirkcaldy we got:-
From Lesley a lovely teddy blanket - tiny pink and cute - well done!
Caroline came in with:-
1 crochet lap rug, 2 scarves, 9 sailors hats, 5 baby hats and 1 childs jumper - always busy Caroline!
She also brought along 4 lovely crochet lap rugs from her wonderful Auntie Elizabeth - such a star and always makes loads of blankets for us! :0)
Jennifer had a great stripey prem blanket (she has started a similar one in a cot size now! Thanks Jennifer!

Wendy had come along to the Kelty meeting for the first time (she did still come to Kirkcaldy too at night though - no show without punch!). She finished a prem cardi at the meeting and left it for us!
And the lovely Suzanne had managed to finish the beautiful shawl she has been working on and brought that along and while at the meeting she finished a sailor hat - well done Suzanne! Great to see you at the two meetings yesterday as well! :0)
Gladys as always has been beavering away on our behalf she was with us almost from day one and has been a fantastic help to me all the way through :0) She came in with two more of her beautiful crocheted squares blankets and an amazing crocheted shawl and 3 little vent bonnets - wonderful Gladys - we love you to bits :0)

Here we are then finally - the donations from the Kirkcaldy meeting last night - the new venue at the Staff Club, Victoria Hospital is lovley and warm and the parking is plentiful.
Last night Nancy brought along her hand made loom and demonstrated to us how to make the thick blanket panels she makes on it - the members were fascinated to see how it was done and very impressed with the finished result (I made Nancy take home another bag of 'blanket' yarn to make us some more of her lovely cozy blankets! She also brought along a royal blue school jumper for Feed the Children - well done Nancy!
Lesley - back safely from her trip to Edinburgh Castle with deomon dinosaur hunter Aaron! Brought in a lovely prem cardigan and a tiny wee 3ply vent bonnet - you are a clever girl Lesley - I think young Aaron enjoys these meetings almost as much as you do!
Louise was back and had made another 4 baby hats in lovely bright colours - love the black stripey one Louise! :0)
Finally Jennifer had been ever so busy again and had finished two blankets - one crocheted and one knitted in lovley stripes. She also made a baby hat as well - wonderful work Jennifer!
So there you have it lots of donations for Monday and great anticipation of what is to come as we have so many new members this week! How exciting!
