I managed to do 4 teddies while I was away on holiday in Wales. I will buy stuffing tomorrow and see how much more I can get done before I come over.

Great to see your Teddies in the 'flesh' on Saturday Louise and lovely to meet some of Kircaldy and Kelty folk at last. I will e-mail my few pics to Lou and perhaps she can put them in with hers. Dot

Hi Everyone
I have just been reading all the messages about the Teddies and will try to start one tonight. I am afraid I cannot make a bag as I am not good at sewing. Is that alright?

Now I know why I dont enjoy making soft toys, I cant stuff them properly My 4 teddies all look a bit deformed with big bodies and small head As my mum said, I'm sure some child will love them and be grateful of them.

I don't think its youn, Sheena, I think its because the pattern is made so simple...the head on my teddy looks too small for its body as well!

At present we have 23 teddies and 29 bags - keep it up girls - they are coming in! This is great as we can have knitted and crocheted bears and stitched bags so you can all get involved if you want! Keep up the good work!

I think I might do my next one slightly longer on the head part, see if that helps.
Thanks for letting me know its not just my knitting.
Lou, when you get a chance, can you give me the postcode for where I'm going on Monday night so I can put it in my sat nav.
Looking forward to meeting everyone.

My "patchwork ladies" have come up trumps and have given me three teddies and I've done three so a few more to add to the total. Will make some extra bags before the post deadline

Hello Lou, I posted another parcel yesterday, this time with 3 teddies and three hats. Hope they are not too creased up when they arrive, as it was bit of a squeeze to get them in the bag, as you will see when you open it.
It looks like we have all enjoyed working on this challenge, and I am looking forward to the next.

Hi Lou
I will send off a small parcel to you today or tomorrow. Not much done since I have been on holiday and also my stepson has been staying for a week so we have been out and about. Still, every little helps and I have included a Teddy.

You certainly have perservered with your Teddies Louise I managed to finish off the one I was knitting at the Knitpic and am half way through an everyday jumper (brown with some cream stripes at the bottom) its supposed to be for a 28" chest but when I measured across the front it was 17" so it looks as though it will fit a much bigger person Never mind there will no doubt be someone big enough to wear it. I don't think my pins are going fast enough to finish it for Sunday but it can always go in towards the next challenge. Dot

I've managed to get 4 teddies done, shall pop them in the post tomorrow! Another is just started, but I don't think I'll finish it in time, and I prefer knitting more simple stuff
