I just had to drop you all a line, the card you sent me is beautiful and it was so unexpected. Which one of you clever ladies made it?

I am so pleased that the weather seems to be changing - I daren't say too much. My birthday party is at the Royal Victoria Country Park tomorrow afternoon and we are going to have a hog roast in the evening. I am expecting loads of family and guests from all over the place so the weather is quite important. Really hoping it will turn fine.

Thanks again see you all on the glorious 12th.

Chrissy

Happy Birthday Chrissy. I think our Molly is responsible for the card as she holds all the addresses and birthdays. She makes beautiful cards.

I just sent an email to your work address but am very pleased to see that you have been very sensible and taken the day off!!

Have a great day and fingers crossed for the celebrations tomorrow.

Best wishes

Lynn x

Sounds like you are having lots of wonderful celebrations for yor birthday - I take it is a major milestone ? I certainly had a lovely time with my family on my 50th the other week - if you enjoy yourself as much as I did you will have lots of lovely memories too :0)

Thanks for all the good wishes, yes Lou it is a milestone some would lock the door and hide from it but I am going to face up to it and try to enjoy it. I don't feel any older now than I did at 16 but the mirror tells me a different story.
I have hired a barbecue site at RVCP in Netley tomorrow evening, a little man is going to provide a Hog Roast for me and all my friends and family are going to spend the afternoon in the park playing games and having a good time - that is the plan anyway! The weather may have other ideas so I have a fall back plan to move everyone to Knowle the village hall is free tomorrow! Either way there will be plenty of refreshment and I will toast you all when I have my first drink tomorrow.

thanks again.
xx
Chrissy

Happy Birthday and I hope the rain stays away - but I'm sure you'll have a great time whatever!

Hi Chrissy

I was thinking of you over the weekend with the horrible weather and I hope you had a lovely time in spite of the rain. I am sure you did, and yes Maureen, I did toast Chrissy, with gin and tonic of course.

Molly
