Just received in the post this morning a lovely letter from Blythswood. It is so encouraging I have copied it below for you all to read:

Dear Cherryl,
"He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward him for what he has done." Proverbs 19 v 17

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your very kind donation of knitted items which you gave us towards the work of our organisation.

Please pass on my personal thanks to everyone in the loving hands group. Such a lot of hard work has gone into making these items. They were all beautiful and the ladies at the depot said they were the nicest they have seen in a long time. They have already packed them in boxes ready to go on our next container to Romania, where I can assure you they will be very much appreciated. So please please keep up the good work. It was lovely to be with you all and share in your birthday party. The food was a real treat!!!

Blythswood Care is indebted to people like you for your support in helping to alleviate the suffering of those less fortunate than yourselves.

Once again, please accept our gratitude on behalf of Blythswood Care for the kindness you have shown.

Yours sincerely,

Michelle Gault

Wow what a lovely letter, makes me feel grateful for all that we have. Aren’t we lucky not to have been born in Romania? Or any other of those poor countries. Makes me feel very humble.
