 Proud teacher here - just got to tell you all how brilliantly my two pupils are doing - after starting off on a few squares to get the hang of the basics the girls both tackled Sands blankets - Sharon actually made two and put the lacey border all the way round the second one while Anouk made some scarves for her family and a cushion for her hubby and a coupld of lovely super chunky bags. Sharon then went on to Teddies for Tragedy and has finished two which are in the box for Emma already :0)

I have now got both of them working on their very first proper garments - Anouk is making herself a slipover in stripes of grey, black and white and Sharon went off armed with aran wool and the gents v neck slipover pattern I did for all the young doctors - I will copy that one to the patterns page for you all as it is a great one to do for the men and because it is aran wool and 4.5 mm needles it is nice and quick :0)

Watch out for news of how they get on :0)

Wow, they're doing brilliantly. Well done Sharon and Anouk!
And well done you Lou, not everyone can teach - exhibit 1, my husband, assumes far too much knowledge on the part of the student and has no patience. Good job he has other redeeming qualities 8)
