Here's a photo of the items I am donating to Tenovous Fundraising Sale on behalf of Loving Hands. The sale takes place at Prince Charles Hospital, Merthyr Tydfil on the 9th of June.

Hopefully this will have displayed properly for you Barbara - well done you :0) Your big box of toy making items has arrived (yesterday) - haven't opened it yet but it looks like such a lot - clever you :0) I am sure we will be able to keep lots of the ladies busy with all of this :0)

Thank you again Barbara xx

Thank you so much Lou, I have to rely on my son to do the photos and he just couldn't get it to work but I knew you were clever so before we quarrelled I told him to leave it to you.
So glad the parcel arrived safely, I think it took about 23 hours to get from my door to yours - well done DHL & Parcels2Go. Will be sending the rest next week wool, patterns and knitting needles - oh and a few crochet hooks.
Had another phone call today offering cones of wool AND a knitting machine. I'm picking it all up on Saturday and as I've always wanted to try machine knitting I thought I'd give it a go. I know that if I fail you will find a home for it.

Cheers, Barbara xx

I have just got my knitting machine out of the loft. mine is a knitmaster. What make is the one you have been given? and does it have a ribber?

I loved your knitting. I bet it sold well. Silver surfer

Thanks everyone for the nice remarks about my knitting, despite promising to let me know how the sale went, I've heard nothing. Disappointing really, makes you wonder if it's worth the time and effort. I actually delivered them to the house of one of the members too.
The knitting machine is a Brother and although I can see there's a wool winder I can't see any mention of a ribber. There are punchcards etc and a lot of patterns if you, or anyone else is interested you can have the lot as long as you cover the cost of transportation.

Cheers now, love, Barbara xx

It’s a shame you never got any feed back on your knitting. You may hear yet.
Thanks for the offer of the knitting machine, but I have one already. I thought if you were going to use yours I may be of help. They are so heavy. It would cost a lot to have delivered. I may be interested in the punch cards and any books you may have IF you do not want them yourself. silver surfer

Good morning SS,
I don't know much about knitting machines but having taken a quick look at all the bits and pieces with this one I have come to the conclusion that it's probably best to keep it all together . I really don't know if these "Brother" marked things would work on any other make.

Cheers, Barbara xx
