I have just found this fantastic site and have placed my first order with them and it was dealt with and ready for despatch an hour later!

Lots of cheap fabric there (check the cheap fabric link because it is updated regularly with special offers) - i just ordered the cordory at £1.50 a metre to make some pet quilts with. Their polyester/cotton stuff, for example is half the price that I just paid for exactly the same material last week.

I was a bit dubious at first because it didn't have an online ordering set-up but i just emailed my order to them and they phoned me up to get my card details over the phone.

What a treasure trove of fabrics! It will certainly save trailing round shops trying to find exactly what you need. Thanks for letting us know.

Fiona, I have used this lot for years and they even post abroad which is a huge plus for me. Latest I had was a 30 metre roll of material to enable me to recover all the seats in the camper - just have to find the time now to make a start on it, I am far too busy doing lady products............ha ha

What a great site - it`s almost enough to make me get my old sewing machine out of the back of the cupboard.

Jean

I have ordered some wyncette and some nylon from that site to make some ladies products with. I thought the nylon could act as a waterproof layer - what do you think? Being an Aberdonian I went for the Wyncette that was on special offer with teddy bears on it - at least they will look pretty when they're hanging out on the washing line! hahaha I'll let you know how I get on.

Hi Fiona
Just gone and had a lookie see – wow those ladies will not know what to make of all the things we are sending them.
My last order was honey coloured suedette and if I can get the seat covers all done I should have a load of it left it really does what it says on the tin.......very soft, washing like a rag, also I loved the photo at the bottom of the suedette page of the little dog. Don't think my two dogs would take too kindly to that outfit tho' plus they are both huge, it would take up far too much material.
Using Mrs Money-penny's idea I raided the linen cupboard, found some flannel sheets and hunted high and low for any towels that I either didn't like the colour or just plain hated the sight off. I intend to sandwiched some shower curtaining into a couple of pads today (only found it late last night)so I will check out how dry they remain later – I am using water – purely in interests of science!!
Haven't yet found suitable stash cotton for the outer envelope thingies but I WILL. I am making the bags using napkins that are no longer needed, he he.
You all have a great day, we have some sunshine so I am happy
