Does anyone know of any wool shops in the Warwickshire area please? I live in Rugby but often travel to Leamington, Coventry and those sorts of areas so anything around there would be great.

The only local place I can find any wool is Wilkinsons - which is nice and cheap but has a very limited range of colours.

I went to a lovely wool shop in Scarborough last weekend and it made me realise what I'm missing!

Although it's probably for the best that there isn't anything too close or I'd bankrupt myself :D

Hi Helen,
There is Web of Wool, http://www.webofwool.co.uk/ in Leamington. They specialise in sock wool, if you're into knitting socks, but also stock other yarns. It is advisable to phone ahead as their opening hours can be misleading and some people have found them closed unexpectedly.
Happy to help,
Annette.

Fantastic :D , thanks for that Annette. I'm in Leamington loads - how have I missed this place?! I'll give them a call later.

Have you seen a co-op there on your journeys? I have been very surprised at the range of wool they stock. I love to touch they are so soft, and pretty. I have to keep my hands firmly in my pockets when I browse there. Not always successful. Lol. S S

There's a small, but well stocked and very helpful wool shop in Warwick. They also have a branch at Wellesbourne, which I use quite a lot as it's nearer for me. There's a big Hobbycraft in Coventry and I would think they would have knitting wool etc. Hope this helps.
