We have done it, this afternoon the Aberdeen & Shire group held their first meeting in Stonehaven. It was a beautiful day with exception to the wind and we 3 Musketeers or 3 wise monkeys were pleasantly surprised with 4 other ladies joining us and also the local daily newspaper came along too. With more publicity who knows what next. Tea and coffee and homemade iced gingerbread was enjoyed while we chatted and chatted. Unfortunately not a lot of knitting was done but donations of wool, needles, stuffing etc was greatfully received. We unfortunately didn't have our camera so watch this space for pics later. A nervewracking day, need a strong drink now.

That is wonderful news Mag - you must send me a copy of the local paper if they print anything about yoyr meeting :0) What are the 4 new ladies like ? Sounds as if you all had a great time - Iam ever so impressed - what a fabulous first meeting - 7 members and this is day one :0) I am ever so proud of you all - well done - so sorry you won't make it to the show tomorrow Mag - do't know if Elaine or Alana will manage down either (I know Dot was going to try and come but has now got something else on).

There are about a dozen of us going already so it should be a nice day out anyway.
